Electrical works for the Sun Peaks Surface Water Reservoir. Sun Peaks water utility has 3 treatment plants that treats, filters and then distributes the water throughout the resort.

Scope included a challenging installation of 750 lm of fiber and power cables connecting the Pumphouse to the Diversion Control Building. Connections are further enhanced with a Ewon cellar connection to the entire water utility system.

Fun Fact:

FPEI custom designed and structurally certified a strong back cable reel specifically for this site. Writing a safe work procedure to handle the 4000lb cable reel. This enabled the civil portion of the cut and cover scope to safely be reduced from 2 weeks to just 3 days! There was a bet on site FPEI would not achieve power to the Diversion Control Building prior to the winter season snowing in the site….power and heat was turned on October 23, 2020 protecting valuable equipment throughout the winter.
