History

Management team at Four Point Electric Inc. (FPEI) have a combined total of 75 years in the construction industry.

Our President is a 4th generation ticketed tradesman within the province of BC. Our rich history of skilled craftsmanship date back to 1919 within the Andrews family. It all began over 100 years ago when Garnet Andrews Senior started working as a registered Blacksmith for the Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company in Trail BC, known today as Teck Metals.

Derek started his journey in the electrical trade in 1990. Achieving a Master RSE Class A certification and going on to supervise, estimate, and project manage some highly technical major projects within the province. He has over 20 plus years estimating and project managing experience in utility, institutional, commercial, educational, and industrial projects throughout the province.

Founder of a successful electrical contracting company within the Lower Mainland BC from 2000 to 2015, he has since then relocated back to family routes within the interior of BC. Recognizing the BC Interior’s rapid growth, the time was right for FPEI to make inroads and provide valuable project experience to this market place.  Our focus is to execute projects seamlessly, with customer service, and customer satisfaction a top priority.

The management team at FPEI have project experience ranging from utilities, industrial, commercial, institutional, and multifamily residential markets.
